Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-07-01. By creating an account, using getmosaic.dev, or connecting to Mosaic's API/MCP server, you agree to these terms. Mosaic is operated by Sourabh Nyalkalkar ("we", "us") as an independent developer.

1. What Mosaic is — and isn't

Mosaic surfaces patterns in public pre-clinical literature, patent filings, clinical trial records, and structural data as a hypothesis-generation aid for drug-discovery research. It is not medical, clinical, diagnostic, regulatory, or investment advice. Nothing Mosaic returns should be relied on for patient care, treatment decisions, or financial decisions without independent verification and professional judgment. The knowledge graph is a curated snapshot of public sources as of a stated refresh date — not a claim of completeness or that an entity absent from Mosaic doesn't exist.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 to use Mosaic. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account email and for anything that happens under your account, including via API keys or OAuth connections you've authorized. Sign-in is via time-limited, single-use email links — there is no password to protect, but you should still keep access to your email account secure.

3. Plans & billing

Mosaic offers a Free tier and paid plans (currently Pro and Lab) billed by our payment processor, Dodo Payments, on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide partial-period refunds except where required by law or at our discretion. Prices, tiers, and monthly quotas may change with notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

5. API & MCP connector use

When you connect Mosaic as a custom connector in an AI client (e.g. Claude) or use an API key directly, the same plan quotas, acceptable-use terms, and disclaimers in this document apply to every tool call made that way, whether initiated by you directly or by an AI agent acting on your behalf.

6. Intellectual property

Mosaic's software, knowledge-graph curation, scoring methodology, and branding are our property. Underlying source facts (PubMed abstracts, patent filings, ChEMBL/ClinicalTrials.gov records, etc.) remain subject to their original public-domain or third-party licensing terms — Mosaic adds structure and analysis on top of them, not exclusive ownership of the underlying facts.

7. Termination

You may stop using Mosaic and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose a security risk, or for non-payment, with notice where practical.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Mosaic is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the knowledge graph is complete or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mosaic and its operator won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on Mosaic's output, including clinical, regulatory, or investment decisions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page and, where required, notified by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

[Placeholder — fill in your jurisdiction, e.g. "These terms are governed by the laws of India / the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles." Not filled in automatically since this is a legal choice only you can make.]
